From harlot, pagan and liar, to appreciated, rescued and adopted.

The churchy word for praying for someone else is “intercession.” This is where we “come between” someone we love and the throne of God and ask on their behalf for something. Jesus is our intercessor and provides us a beautiful example of what it looks like to pray on behalf of those we love for their good, their wholeness and their place in the world.
